Hello! January is officially over. Can’t believe we’re entering the second month of the year.
Based on popular opinion, January is notorious for its snail pace. I personally wish it only went slower during Christmas & new year break to enjoy my time off and probably went faster afterwards.
So what’s in January?
1. Started the year by having a Korean BBQ. Finally tried the infamous yangnyeom gejang and of course ordered tteokbokki and beef. Yangnyeom gejang is basically a spicy marinated raw crab. Surprisingly it tastes so good and doesn’t have that fishy smell. Another thing I enjoyed is the tteokbokki which has cheese in it and free-flow condiments, like spinach, egg, nori (dried seaweed), etc. So good! Never in my Asia travel mandatory to-do-list to have a Korean BBQ. But after this meal, this MUST be on the mandatory list!2. Had spa & massage treatment. Something I’d really miss & appreciate about travelling to Asia is their quality of service, the ease of access, and the ease of booking by just chatting through their official WhatsApp.3. Cafe hopping. Mostly had a flat white and have to admit the “standard coffee” is already good. 4. Can’t believe it’s been a few weeks since I started to have matcha latte in my daily morning routine. I still drink coffee every now and then, don’t worry!5. Started to exercise earlier than usual. Still a work in progress to keep this habit. But a good start!
That’s it! As always, will try to post more and wishing everyone a wonderful February!
