First Post in 2024: Another Singapore Trip

It’s been a long time! I’ve abandoned one of my 2023 goals to consistently write. Such a pro procrastinator! So, I’m keeping the same goal for 2024, and let’s see how it goes.

Before it’s too late, I’m going to share my recent birthday trip ritual in early 2024 as my first post of 2024.

Still have mixed reviews from my last non-stop flight (13+ hours) from the UK to Singapore. The good thing is direct flight. So no layover & less risk of delayed baggage. But honestly, it feels like forever! Might not be good for aerophobia or a claustrophobic person.

I might be biased but I have to admit Changi Airport is another level and simply the best overall. Huge tenants, including Bacha Coffee, open on average until midnight.

There are lots of free things to see and do at Changi Airport. From Sunflower Garden in Terminal 2

And of course to the infamous Jewel. You can enjoy Jewel from Changi (transit passenger area) itself by taking the Skytrain from Terminal 2, through Terminal 3, and to Terminal 1. You can check all the attractions in this link and plan your visit accordingly.

Mandatory morning run around Marina Bay Sands

Recently found a good coffee place but forgot to take a picture: Apartment Coffee. In the meantime, always having this mandatory takeaway coffee 1: %Arabica

Another mandatory takeaway coffee 2: Bacha Coffee

Enjoying hawker centre food: Saporita Truffle Cheesewheel. Not so Singapore but recommend this!

And enjoying the last few days strolling around the city and can’t stop thinking how clean the city is!

I also had a chance to spend some time outside Singapore. But I’ll save this for my next post!
